We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing team and shape

the core of our Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) platform.

Responsibilities

- Design & Build scalable backend services and APIs that power Jit’s open

security platform.

- Lead the development of microservices—primarily serverless and K8S—on

AWS, ensuring reliability and high performance.

- Collaborate with product and security teams to translate requirements into

elegant technical solutions.

- Own Delivery end-to-end: architecture, implementation, automated testing,

CI/CD, and production monitoring.

- Champion Best Practices around code quality, documentation, observability,

and security-by-design.

- Mentor & Guide teammates, sharing knowledge on cloud infrastructure,

DevOps, and modern backend architecture.

What are we looking for?

- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer building large-scale products.

- Proficiency in Python/Node/Go with a passion for writing clean, maintainable

code.

- Hands-on expertise with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway,

DynamoDB, ECS) and infrastructure-as-code.

- Proven track record designing microservice architectures; deep serverless

and event-driven architecture experience is a big plus.

- Advantage: Experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes

(K8s) clusters.

- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a desire to thrive

in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring in

production.

- Service in elite tech units (e.g., 81, 8200, Talpiot) or equivalent experience is a

nice-to-have.
